Big Signs
Now I could not help but laugh at this comment (though I’m not entirely sure how true it is because I’m sure most people haven’t even heard of Shea-Porter):
“We are building a network on the ground in every part of the District,” said Shea-Porter after the event. “Unlike Jeb, we have real people — not just big signs.”
God I am sick of those big signs everywhere.

I hate political signs.
50,000 signs per candidate. I’d be willing to bet that out of those 50,000 signs maybe 1,000 additional votes are generated. 900 of which are from name association, and 100 because the sign viewer/voter actually then retrieved information on said candidate. The former of the two reasons is bullshit/swaying of random votes, and the latter is actually morally defensible. I guess my point is that candidates should be earning votes based on their ideaology and stance rather than jedi mind tricks.
If my logic holds, 49,000 of the signs are essentially temporary litter.
One pamphlet in each persons mail-box per candidate is probably sufficient. A pamphlet that actually has information in it more than just the candidates name.
Oh, what time is the game tonight? I’m filling in for Linda!

Yeah, I’m not a really big fan either. They are pretty much just litter, but I don’t think a flyer would be much better. I don’t know about you but I throw away everything that I get that is bulk mail unless it is from a company that I have a relationship (or whatever) with (To be honest, the Scientist usually gets the mail).
And the game is at 9pm.
