Easier on the eyes
I was working with someone here at work (shocking!) who told me that by doing the following you can make text much easier to read on LCD screens.
- Right click on the desktop and select ‘Properties’
- Click on the ‘Appearance’ Tab
- Click on the ‘Effects…’ button
- Change the second dropdown menu from ‘Standard’ to ‘ClearType’.
I think this really makes a difference, but maybe I’m weird.

Standard looks better on my Benq. Still it was interesting and it did change the appearance.
I wish I could make fun about not working at work. It is work and I feel like a dog.

I think the ‘ClearType’ makes the text on screen look much more like printed text.
I was more making fun of my sentence, “I was working with someone here at work”. I didn’t really need to explicitly spell out that we were working at work. I do spend the majority of my time at work working (no matter what any other people say).
