 War on Terrorble Diseases

July 24, 2006 at 1:27 pm  |  video, politics

I was sent this link to a daily show news article entitled: War on Terrorble Diseases.  You should watch it, though it does sort of portray Bush as a hypocrite (the last 5 seconds are very poignant).  It is refreshing to occasionally view the news in satire form.  Laughter is healing or something.

  1. I watched that a couple times the other night .. my favorite part was the bit about the “baby smoothies.”

“Sort of portrays Bush as a hypocrite?” Isn`t that the entire point of it? I wonder if any other media has yet to call attention to this moral loophole, though I guess it doesn`t really matter what the American people think anymore ..

  2. Here I have commented once again and used my real e-mail address.

In regard to directed work. I would say about 10-20% and they have to ask real nice. I know what needs to be done as well or better than my immediate bosses then it goes up exponentially from there.

I like that clip. Too bad the people who most need to hear it won’t listen.

Maybe the embryos are future Christians and the 30-50,000 dead Iraqis aren’t.

My back is better today but not great.

  3. Yeah, baby smoothies are always amusing. And I was trying to be sarcastic, which I am bad at. I’ll work on that.

Old Guy, you are probably right about the Christian embryos (Christian Baby Smoothies?). The people who care about those embryos (outside of those parents who are using them to get pregnant and the scientists who want to use them to help ‘actual’ people) are people who believe non-Christians are damned, while the embryos are ‘pure’ and ready for indoctrination. So why would they care about non-Christians (or the poor [lazy bums!], or the sick)?

Now if you use the same information everytime you comment you should see your comment go right up. [Not dan. I think something about commenting from Japan screws up my spam filter]
