A new feature has appeared!

But what does it do?

More Flags

Ah… but what does this mean? The answer points to this link, entitled The Wisdom of the Crowds. A strange title considering that another term for ‘The Crowds’ is ‘The Mob’, which has not wisdom. No link because I am lazy. Hmm…

There is no real point to this post because I really do not want to spend the time and effort putting my thoughts into written proses. I probably should take some time a do a long post about last week and about the coming weeks, but we will see.

  1. Sometimes I wonder about the validity of this blog. If you are not going to take the time to write something quality, or atleast something intelligent, then what is the point. Um.. Mr. Historian, years from now aliens or a new humanoid race are going to stubble upon the internet and find things like your last post. Currently humans do enough stupid things that will define us in history, lets not make things worse. From now on I suggest you discuss things like “life, the universe and the meaning of everything.” Or (yeah I just started a sentence with or) perhaps stick to books and politics. Storytelling is acceptable, but expect to get the thumbs down on occasion. Heidi (otherwise known on this blog as “my wife”)

  2. I disagree with a couple of points. (1) Many of the most interesting things left behind are rubbish (Pottery is a big one, and graffiti is another), and (2) I would expect thumbs ‘up’ on occasion, thumbs down would be the norm.
