 Is it cold in here?

June 14, 2005 at 10:51 pm  |  uncategorized

One of the women here has this. An idea of the specs can be found in english here. Why are all the laptops in the US so farqing big? Why can’t I buy one of those from Dell? This is the kind of laptop that I really want. Something I can carry with me everywhere! Too bad the battery life is only 2.5 hours.

Merry X-Mas? No nevermind. I believe that this will be a hippie christmas (not cheap mind you). We will be making presents or buying presents that are made locally and with respect to our environment. At least I think this is the plan…

  1. After having a discussion with the owner of said laptop, it is two years old and no longer made. My point still stands though, why can’t I buy a small laptop like that one.

  2. The smallest laptop dell makes is this: http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/inspn_700m?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs

Tony “Mr. Roppongi” Duncan from NEC has one, maybe you saw it in one of your meetings over there in Korea?

It’s not asian small by any means, but its pretty small for a US laptop.

*And why can’t I put HTML code in my comment?

  3. I’m (hopefully) selling my Zaurus soon, and as soon as I do, I’ll be buying one of these or one of these.

If I had the money, I would pick up one of these, or one of these!

I should note that all of those laptops are made in Japan, but you can buy them in the US.

  4. You can put HTML code in your post. Look I am doing it now! You can even put links in. Are you the only person to ever have your name?

Anyway, Tony’s laptop is the small but nothing like the Sony lady… whose name I will not even try to write. Hey they have naked news here. God I am bored.

  5. If you’re asking about my ebay username, I had “Xumbi” at one point, but I lost the password to it a long time ago. Hence the need for “Xumbi8″, which is better than “Xumbi7.”

  6. How strange! I post one thing and now I have to post another! Thank you xumbi for keeping me entertained.

Another laptop I would like is this, but the Vaio x505 is the thinest motherfooocker I have ever seen! It really is rediculous.

    To sleep I go!

  7. Yeh, the language has been a little harsh early on.
I’ve noticed if I log on at work with IE that your links lose connection back to this site and I have to start over from scratch.

When are you getting back this weekend? Would you be up for a cookout at home? I do assume Riley is a boy’s name. I hate using laptops so I will not add anyting to this discussion. Sleep well.
